Only a week into my internship and I already have to say my first goodbyes to the mission team I have worked alongside all last week. I truly believe that God puts people in your life for a reason, and this team was no different. Since Leslie is in charge of mission teams that come to El Sembrador, I basically tagged along with them while she worked to keep their trip organized and going smoothly. I felt like I was imposing at first, but everyone in the group welcomed me so sincerely and made me feel like part of the team immediately. I don't know what I would have done without them this week. I definitely received more than I gave, and I am so blessed to know them. Together we painted a school, pushed a broken-down van through town, put on a Bible School for a group of kids, explored some nearby caves, and prayed for different people at El Sembrador. God used each of them in mighty ways, and it will be hard to see them go. Here are some pictures of our week!

Please pray for this group as they make their way back to Ohio tomorrow! When I get back to the school after dropping them off I will begin working on more of the behind-the-scenes work. One big thing they want to work on while I'm here is the El Sembrador website. I'm not sure how good I will be at making a website look good, but it will be an interesting experience! Hopefully I will do more good than harm :)
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support! My first week was amazing, and I know it's because I have so many people praying for me back home. I really appreciate it, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for next week!
Not everyone who prays for you is "back home," so there. =P
